Chewelah Farmers Market

Chewelah City Park
Chewelah WA 99109
Fridays, 11am-3:30pm
Season: May 13 - October 14

Head north on Hwy 395 on a summery Friday afternoon, and you’ll see the Chewelah Farmers Market nestled among the trees of the city park.

Complete with a creek running through it, the atmosphere is relaxed, an invitation to breathe in the fresh air and soak up the greenery surrounding you on all sides.

The market provides the usual staples, bread, honey, vegetables, fruit, dairy and meat, but also has some unique characteristics you’d be hard pressed to find in a city market.

The Chewelah Market boasts vendors that have mastered the art of their craft. Featuring multiple woodworkers, crafting everything from trendy charcuterie boards and bluetooth speakers, to classic hand-turned spoons and birdhouses, a local beekeeper offering her skin care products along with apiary education, Harry the Potter, a leather worker that crafts everything from leather handbags with ostrich inlay to custom guitar straps, and a blacksmith working on site, complete with anvil and forge.

Pack a blanket and some camp chairs, then take your time to stroll through this lovely market. Grab a buffalo burger at The Good Life Cafe Barbecue, some fruit from Front Porch Farm, organic yogurt or a cafe latte from Clover Mountain Dairy Farm and a package of Sour Cream Twists from The Bread Box, then walk the distance of about 50 feet to a perfectly shaded picnic spot, along the creek bend for some RRR&R, restful relaxation, restoration, and recreation.
