Pamela & Todd Robinson of Robinson Soft Brittle ha Pamela & Todd Robinson of Robinson Soft Brittle have spent much of the past few years building a confectionary empire, but it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for this modern-day, motorcycle-loving, “Brittle Bunch.”
It was Labor Day Weekend, so Pamela & Todd were headed to share their sweets at the Schweitzer Mountain Fall Fest. On Friday morning, they loaded up their SUV and trailer with hundreds of pounds of brittle, set up their tent, and got to selling.
Their sweet and salty, perfectly flaky, soft peanut brittle was such a hit that by the end of Saturday, the Robinsons were almost completely sold out—with two days still left to sell.
Pamela & Todd drove back down the mountain and straight to their Hayden, ID, production facility where they proceeded to cook and package candy all night. The Robinsons again loaded up the car and made the trip back to Schweitzer just in time to open their booth and introduce their goods to the hungry fairgoers.
To learn more about Pamela & Todd, Robinson Soft Brittle, and how they have built up a local candy empire in recent years, visit EdibleInlandNW.com.
